Welcome to the debut issue of Sweetpea’s Evening Ag News! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day and visiting this blog. We hope you find the content enjoyable. If you have any suggestions or specific topics you’d like to see in future issues, please get in touch and let us know.

Goal & Vision

Yes, Sweetpea’s Evening Ag News is a company newsletter. However, our vision for this publication is much more than that. No, you will not have to endure a bombardment of advertisements trying to get you to buy our services each month. That is not our goal here!

In this newsletter, we aim to put the spotlight on others, specifically on our fellow agriculturists. It’s not a secret that times have been, and continue to be tough for many who make a living from production agriculture. There is no magic fix to all the issues that exist, and we can easily default to focusing on the bad news.

But we do know there are positive stories out there. Farm businesses continue to grow into new markets and diversify production. With each issue of this newsletter, you will find stories that highlight exciting developments happening in various agricultural businesses.

By focusing on these hardworking people and their plans in our articles, we hope it will help them gain exposure that will contribute to the long-term success of their enterprises. For our subscribers, we want you to be inspired with new ideas to try at home and boost that drive to keep you working on those goals you already have in progress. We strive to encourage the overall support of local farm businesses with engaging content that displays their aspirations in the best light possible.

In addition to business spotlights, we will also feature other articles that will vary in topic and target audience. Some categories to watch out for include:

Garden and hobby farm tips, tricks, and products

Stories tailored for 4-H/FFA youth

Current events affecting agriculture

General business related content

And more!
